Do they play games in FLA? I'm pretty sure I read that they do, but they're not open to the public or something... is that right jsinger?

I've looked but maybe you know: are there any stats anywhere, or at least reports coming in from your end about how those guys (Bard in particular) are doing?

There are no stats anywhere but I get the stats and reports from people who are down there and then report them back to us.

no they didn't. really no reason to when they got Weeden and Anderson for the price it may have cost to sign Laporta.

He slipped because of injury and we got him late. But for the money he wanted it wasn't worth it when they got Ty Weeden and Lars Anderson signed for less than what Laporta wanted.

To add to what Jsinger said, Jon Sickels along with some others actually had Lars Anderson rated higher than Laporta, and he cost much less to sign. Anderson has alot to prove but hes an exciting young player.

Singer, I see scaff and temple joined. I know they, and you, are regulars at soxprospects.com. Did you recommend the site? If so, good on ya, it would be nice to have members that know the minor league game better than most here.

I didn't recommend anything. Scaff doesn't post over at soxprospects anymore because he wants special privledges. who knows if temple will post here often as well. He will dedicate most of his time to soxprospects(being a moderator like myself over there) and continue with SOSH
