That's a shame. I was hoping he'd be able to be elected into the HOF.

I ran into Buck O'Neil a couple of times at Hall of Fame inductions (Not literally...and I'm glad, I think even at 94 he could have taken me...haha) and you seriously couldn't have asked for a cooler guy. He took the time to take pictures with fans, and even turned around during the ceremony to ask me if I could see ok or if I wanted him to move over a seat. What kind of guy does that? I can't believe they didn't put him in when they put in a bunch of other Negro Leaguers that one year...why did they have to wait to do it posthumously? A disgrace if you ask me...
