agreed. Man was I disappointed. But that was quite possibly the worst ND defense I have ever seen. Damn. Looks like Old Charlie has a one trick pony.

 

In all fairness to Charlie, Willingham left him NO talent on the defensive end save Zbikowski. Last season he got a poor rank on his defensive recruits, but he wasnt able to recruit for the entire recruiting season. The incoming class of recruits are said to be fantastic on both sides of the ball, so we should see a very young ND team on both sides of the ball. Give em a yr or two Mr. C and who knows.

i lived and died with nd football thru childhood from wayne bullough to ross browner to montana and tony rice into my very late 20s but 1 day i was listening to other irish fans at the bc/nd game and i was sickened by the stupidity

bc,the real irish catholic team buried the irish that year

and the year before after nd upset fla state to become #1 bc beat the irish in south bend

 

nd fans couldnt accept it until that saturday in newton when bc just beat the piss out of them

then they had no choice and the program really hasnt been the same since

not to sound like a klansmen but the truth is you cant win when your skill positions are occupied primarily with white kids

they cannot run as fast as black kids

Troy Smith has no time to get a pass off. Pittman cannot run. The defense cannot stop leak. Ginn would not have made this game fun to watch. This is dominance, LSU/ND type dominance without the close 1st half.
