September starts with the yankees playing 3 against the twins and then 3 vs the royals. The sox start september with 3 vs toronto then 3 vs CWS. This is a crucial time for both clubs.

 

Which matchups intrigue you the most and which ones scare you the most? I think that outside of the NYY/BOS stuff, the Schilling vs Zito matchup will be cool as well as the RJ vs Hernandez matchup.

With all the struggles the Sox have had against the Jays last season, 2 pitchers have not faced them yet this season... Schilling & Wake. Which of course were, I believe, the best 2 starting pitchers the Sox had in the first half.
