You could even plob Ortiz at first rarely to get one of them in the game as a DH.

thats what i think happens. Let WMP play RF and Coco CF one night, the next play WMP in CF and Trot in RF, then the third day play Coco in CF and Trot in RF. Should be interesting to see how Tito handles this

It's called getting old and injuries creeping up on him. The year he gained 30 pounds or whatever, a lot of it was him just being a fatass. The guy has selflessly served the orgnization for 10+ years. To insult him is unjustified. He was and still is my favorite player and I will be sad to see him go when his time comes.

Part of me wants to say he doesnt fit in, but another part of me knows that, being the type of guy he is, all of this speculation and talk of benching him might just drive him to play harder and better.

 

Nixon fits in wherever Tito decides he fits in, and that will undoubtedbly be the wrong decision according to the critics.

If WMP or Trot make that catch then they don't send the runner as it was real shallow and both guys have a good arm. Trot would be harder against as he's pretty accurate and he would have been in a better position as he throws lefty.

Trot fits in as a lefty off the bench, which if we get out act together and make the playoffs, could be very valuable.
