That is exactly what he doesnt need. He needs to locate what he already has. His heater is hard enough and his curve wicked enough to live off those two. He just has to work on locating both of them.

Your right, I remember how he would easily get that breaking ball over for a strike in that post season. He made Jeter look foolish in game 6 with that curve. But just looking at him now it looks like he has taken a step back. It really is strange to watch.

He needs more than two pitches to get by in the AL. His changeup is not even a changeup as it has no separation from his fastball. A pitcher can't live with 2 pitches as a starter in the AL East. It can't happen.

Robertson struggles but still only throws 16 pitches to get through the 1st unscathed. I said this before, you do not have the luxury of falling behind against this team like you has against the O's. The sox will be eaten alive.
