Terry Francona's replacement

I am not only one of those folks who bash Francona all the time i think he a good manger and i hope he will the sox wfor sometime

but the thing worried me about him is his heath with has been a probleam in the past. so if anything happen to him who world be a good replacement for him

 

i would said Brad Mills or DeMarlo Hale would get the job

I don't understand why so many people bash Francona. Of course he is under a microscope and any bad move he makes, he is crucified. You don't see hear a lot people write many positive things Francona does.

 

Terry has done a better job than I expected. First, he was the manager that killed "The Curse" and brought Boston a World Series title. Also, probably the biggest decision he made this year that has kept the Red Sox in playoff contention was putting Paps in the closer role. If you read the game thread on all the Red Sox message boards from the first game Paps closed, there were many Sox fans who were saying if he blew that game, Francona should be fired. As it turned out, Terry made the correct call but I have not read many threads about that. I just read threads like this one.

As far as Tito, didnt he JUST sign an extension after managing the WS win with the embarassing league minimum for a manager?

When you have a chance to learn grammar, structure, and spelling try making an intelligent post. More importantly, don't make a gloom and doom post concerning the Sox.

Especially, when there's nothing wrong with Tito. Take your crap someplace else. :thumbdown

Francona did suffer from a pulmonary embolism back in 2002. There was also another scare early last season where he was rushed to a hospital in New York via helicopter from Yankee Stadium. It was assumed that it was related to the previous embolism. I’ve also heard him mention in interviews that he takes blood thinners for the condition.

 

I do have to agree with the other posters. This is really a ******** thread.

Tek should become a bench coach once he retires and then take over the manager's spot later on. I'm telling you Tek would make a great coach IMO.

No doubt. 'Tek would be a great pitching coach and any team that was lucky enough to have him as a manager would probably be great as long as he was there.

There should be a comma after spelling. Also, no comma after especially. Just some observations.
