Probably sooner than 4-6 weeks. I can see him being the odd-man out when Dotel comes off the DL, rather than Beam.
Don't count on Dotel. I told you that months ago when you though he would be back in June.

Right. He has definately made it hard to count on him. He was very close to being activated on several occasions, but always tweaked something during his rehab.

Looks like they won't be letting Wang go for the complete game. Oh well, still a great game from him. He struggled at first but battled through it and got in a groove eventually. He's in line for his 13th win and hasn't given up a run in 17 innings. Tonight's game also lowered his sinking ERA to 3.58.

Yeah hes at 104 pitches. I dont like extending him that much because of past shoulder issues. If all goes well this will be his first season over 200 innings.

And the Yankees win. That's 10 of their last 12 series (lost one and split one.)

Now, let's cross our fingers for Lidle tomorrow (and that the Cleveland bullpen can get three more outs tonight!)

I'm pretty confident about tomorrow. They are facing Marcum. They hit him fairly well the last time but they werent able to get that big hit to knock him out of the game. They should have better AB's against him.

Here's a prediction for you. The Blue Jays who have been shut down the last two nights will tune up that scab Cory Lidle.

How appropriate that the Yankee catcher and captain come through today.

3 - 0 Yankees

Hmmm. The Red Sox captain and catcher -- same person -- just went down to injury. If that isn't a big school-yard, "NEENER NEENER NEENER!", then I don't know what is. Given your history here of not doing that much, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, but don't be surprised if some think you are green and live under a bridge.

lol,you too with the scab stuff?

I can understand to a certain extent why some players have a problem with the scabs who crossed over, but is it really that big a deal? I mean, some guys take it to a ridiculous level. Like Cory said during the press conference the other day, he had his reasons. I doubt he'll have any trouble with the Yankees. Shane Spencer never had any trouble, except for one minor incident with Chris Widger I believe, but that's it.

oh god, was what she said even worth a response? it wasn't that big a deal, we endure twice that on a regular basis here. Don't get ridiculous.

I was thinking the same thing myself, but I didn't feel like getting into it. Some people around here have some pretty thin skin..

Many people around the Yankees when Spencer was there felt that Torre had a major problem with him because of being a scab. Wasnt Kevin Millar a scab?

Yesterday was the anniversary of Thurman Munson's death. That is why I made those comments. It had nothing to do with Varitek or the Red Sox.

The Yankees right now are rolling in every sense of the word. After this Baltimore series (Which I will be in attendence for :) ) The Yankees have a tough strech of 26 games. After that the Yankees have a VERY easy schedule. I like our chances right now.

Since I'm not a Yankee history buff and was unaware of the anniversary, the timing seemed odd. I did, however, say that I gave her the benefit of the doubt due to her normally very respectful tone here. That qualifier means I agree with you about it not being a big deal. Talk about ridiculous.

Speaking of ridiculous, I can't believe you still complain about what you have to "endure" here. If it's such thorn in your side, don't come back. I doubt many tears will be shed.

I am glad that I didn't place a bet.
