Not sure Timlin knew he was pitching in a major league game, everything was up. Lousy defense too for a change. These guys just look OFF today, can't really explain it. Two bunts "surprise" the defense, a missed cut off, and a lazy luckluster performance all around.

Understandable loss yesterday, Kazmir was brilliant. Fossum always seems to piss us off whether he gets the W, L or ND, and it showed today. I'm starting to get annoyed though, I mean goddamn, if we lose tonight (most likely scenario) this is yet another opportunity to distance ourselves from the Yanks that got away. 7-1 Cleveland, at least the Yanks most likely won't win. Who knows though. WELCOME BACK TO THE AL, SOX!

Varitek is starting to get on my nerves. I love the guy, but he doesn't do like anything except for strike out. He had 4 K's last night, and what tonight? Like 2 or 3? That makes at least 6 strikeouts in the last 2 games.

Not to mention that abysmal .245 average going into his last at bat of the game.
