Well that was another big win for the Red Sox tonight. I was obviously pleasantly surprised with Kyle Snyder's performance. Maybe a little V-Tek nurturing is all this guy needed?

the nats lineup makes a lot of pitchers look good but he did appear to have a nasty deuce working and had very good command

our team wears down most staffs and capitolizes on weak bullpens and as long as we're close thru 6 we got a pop

He hadn't started since June 8th. It could be that maybe he was working on a 75-80 pitch limit and the Sox wanted to give JVB a clean inning, instead of possibly having runners on base.

 

It was clearly a fatigue issue, I'd reserve judgement til his next start.

i dont see that as a big deal but i also understand hes had 2 arm surgeries as well

 

what i dont get is this

we have schilling toss 135 pitches in cleveland in icy april weather,our entire season depending on his health,then we baby this guy??

i could sleep easy tonite if snyder blew his elbow out

i would be very anxious if schill burnt his ankle because it stiffened up in the 40 degree rain in cleveland......i'd love to see tito get consistant with these guys outside of consistantly using rudy when the chips are down

how many pitchers regularly pitch on 11 days rest? Answer no one, they need to stay on this balanced regimen. He was back home when he got the call from Theo, and was then sent to Florida to speed up his routine in a short matter of time.

 

Anyways, why bother complain about him? He gave us quite a solid spot start that kept us in the game. So far he's in line to start game 3 against Philadelphia. After normal rest, I doubt he will still be hurting after 67 pitches.
