I am with you man - hoping nothing major.

 

Easy for my decision - Youk back at third. Snow at first.

 

Probably like others - I thought this scenario and thought of the lost offense. Defense is a relative wash, with Youk playing solid for the most part, and expect the same from Snow.

 

I then thought of Jay Payton from last year. Just like Snow, Payton wanted out for more playing time. Seemed to me, a few of our '05 outfielders went down within a few weeks of Payton's "demands". Granted, Snows contract made him rethink his stance, or lack thereof. Payton got what he wanted.

 

But. Youk at third makes me shake my head in a good way - nice option to have. Obviously the same bat with Youk. He has to be feeling pretty confident right now.

 

Can Snow gonna be the offensive man for a few weeks? I friggin hope so.

If Lowell is out for that long, which would likely mean he been disabled, why not call up Choi and give him a shot? At least he can hit...Snow looks toasted.

 

If it's only for a few days we could get by with Snow, or possibly put Papi at 1B and put another hitter in the DH. Snow could the come in as a late inning defensive replacement if necessary.

choi? he sucks even more than snow , he is a career 240 hitter with not that much power either and his defense aint as great as snow

but on a more serious note, he'll be fine, miss a day or two then come back, it'll get snow that playin time hes been itchin about.

Hope is not a big thing. If not I would chose between Youk/Cora 3B and Snow/Choi/Ortiz 1B. As I said, hope Lowell is not out a big time.

I think snow has had great d in the past, but he's getting older and his reflexes slower. Not to mention the fact that he's not playing very much so it's harder to turn it on when he needs to without the regular reps!

well, Doubles has pronounced himself fit to play and is in the lineup tonight so as long as doesn't tweak the hammy, I think he's fine

Yea whatever, it really doesn't sound too serious. I have pulled a hammy, it takes a little while to get completley mobile again but he should be fine.
