In the first inning he kept repeating how A-Rod couldnt hit in the 1st inning. God hes annoying. Now I have to listen to Gammons talk about how things would be different if he was a Red Sox.

A comment that red sox & yankee fans agree on together that we dont like hearing. thats rare

When you're a yankee hater, yes. The yankees, with all their injures are a shadow of their former selves. No need to lose your mind when they fail.

Do you get mildly excited when a Sox player hits into a DP with the sacks full and 1-out?

EDIT: I mean, don't get me wrong, I know he's no Yankee fan. But, watch Sunday night baseball for about 2 months straight. Miller gets excited for either side in a big spot, be it they scored the run, or made the out. He's, IMO, the best in the business right now, and I wish Fox could get ahold of him to do the Series.

EDIT #2: My second choice for the PBP is another ESPN guy, Gary Thorne. I thinks he calls a very good, very even game.

they misjudge everything

SWING AND A DRIVE, WAY BACK, WAYYYY BACK, And caught infront of the track

OR

swing and a fly ball to centerfield, on the warning track, GONEE

I was listening to a yankee game last yr when we were trailing by 3 in the bot 9th, Bernie at the plate, bases loaded. Here's the call...

Here comes Bernie, and HE HITS IT, IT IS HIGH, IT IS FAR, IT IS GOOOOOOOOOO.. FOUL BALL. OH MAN HE JUST MISSED A HR!!! I nearly pissed and shat myself at the same time. Next day, I watched the end of Yankees encore and he hit the ball about 30 feet foul and probably wasnt deep enough to get out of the park for a tater if it was straight. I was angry....

I love it but when your an announcer shouldnt you be objective? ESP someone like Miller who is doing the game of the week. Its not like hes calling the Giants game.

Lmao I hear ya. I was listening to Sterling the other day and the Yankees were down by a run. I think it was Cano who was at the plate and he goes into the same screaming tirade: Its hit deep to CF, that ball is high it is far it is cought! Then he explained how it was on the warning track about 2 steps from the wall. I saw the replay and it wasnt even on the warring track let alone close to the wall.

Ah, can't wait to get to wagner. Hopefully the yanks get the mets out without scoring 2, so he comes in and we win.

wagner wont come in today. He threw on friday and 30 pitches yesterday...

There is no announcer I hate more then Hawk. I'd rather listen to someone grind on a chalk board then hear him.

Hawk "he gone, you can put it in my ass......yeah...." Harrelson....

atta baby damon...

How often do you guys watch Miller call Sunday Night Games, every week or only when the Yanks play?

Yankees are being given chances. Morgan explaining how the Met relivers are being affected by the wind while Yankee relivers have pitched 2.2 scoreless.

Morgan is the most clueless man in baseball, and that includes McCarver...

Miller is mentally retarded

"is he bunting for a sacrifice"

obviously john, runners on 1st and 2nd, no outs, and hes squaring early...
