Winners' 5/8-5/14 Weekly

I think everyone will agree that this week got screwed up by the rain. So I had to make some decisions with regards to the winners. Clearly, BoSox34 ( although I listed him as GoSox34, my mistake - typo ) won the Total Runs Category. He hit it dead on at 22. The problem comes with the Wins Category. Due to the rain, there was not a correct pick. If I went by the rules, there would be no winner some this category. The reason being is that it is the primary category and the second category performs a dual function. To act as a tie breaker for winners of the Wins category and to stand as separate category for a prize.

Unfortunately, the was no winner in the Wins Category. My considerations :

 

...Declare no winner in this Category.... This would suck !

...Carry over the prize into next week... Bad choice.. I changed format to enable more entries.

...Just award both prizes to BoSox34 as he was closest to wins ( tied with 3 others ) but he hit the runs scored correctly.

 

 

So the winner is : BoSox34 for both prizes = $ 50.
