i was a longtime lurker on SoSH but got tired of waiting for my chance to register. i was happy to stumble upon this board which i am sad to say i didn't even know existed until today.

Hi Everyone. I'm a registered member of SoSH. I work in baseball. I'm rather tired of SoSH also. Know and love Sam Horn personally. The SoSH people have a wait list of hundreds of people...so you're going to have a long wait and why bother?

 

Tho some of the SoSH comments are insightful...it's like these people are also on WEEI's whiner line or the whiners are also on SoSH and it's just "same old / same old."

 

Their "members only / non baseball section" though can be hilarious.

 

Anyway, I was also recently a member of that "onthedl" message board. That's where women go on there and talk about what baseball guy they slept with. I thought it would be women talking about baseball - and there's some of that on there too and it's good - but then baseball player wives go on there and read that their husband has STDs and cheats. That's not cool. Plus, there's not a lot of talk about the baseball guys either.

 

Anyway, I thought I would make a post here to invite you to read my novel on line for free. It's about precision jump skydiving, the Red Sox, minor leaguers, and baseball. I understand if the moderators of this board don't like this post and take it down.
