this ump has been all over the place tonight! That strikeout to trot was in the exact same place as the ball to a-rod!

Wow, that pitch was about 6-8 inches off the plate. Nobody has been getting the black all night, and then he calls a strike there. Just wow.

this home plate umpire is also the one from the Sox/Yanks game last season when the Sheffield/fan fight happened. He was very inconsistent in the strike zone resulting in Tito & Papa Jack being ejected for arguing balls and strikes.

I'd rather watch the ESPN coverage than this YES Network garbage.

Surprisingly i have thought that the YES coverage has been far superior to ESPN. I saw YES the first 2 game and though i would try ESPN tonight. At least YES focusses on the game and doesn't have "updates" every 7 minutes regarding baroid and the boxer that died today! I would rather watch NESN, but YES has been fair in my opinion!

In defense of ESPN, their job is to report on the most compelling stories from all of the sports world. YES just reports on the Yankees. Big difference. I'd rather listen to Berman and Morgan than Michael Kay any day of the week and twice on Sunday (and Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday).

True. And I think ESPN has actually done a good job. I usually don't like Berman, but I do like Joe Morgan a lot. I'd much rather watch ESPN over YES.
