Let me guess, theyre already talking about postgame?

Not quite yet. They're just insufferable. Kinda like some of the Yankees fans on this board.

These YES announcers are awful.

I'd rather listen to Kay than the utter joke Sterling and annoying bitch Waldman. For some reason I'm getting the CBS radio audio over the video feed on mlb.tv. What makes it even worse is that they don't have an on screen scoreboard for count, out, baserunner situation. Luckily, Wed and Thurs games will be on ESPN.

I think Beckett used the first to establish his FB. Threw some more curves that inning.

Location was the problem with him, nibbling too much. I would have rather faced ARod than Roid Boy, but Josh threw him too good a pitch.

Anyway, we need some offense, and now would be a good time to start producing.

BTW, if Giambi was on a different team you would do the exact same thing.

Beckett needs to improve, but with the way RJ has pitched lately, 2 runs isn't unbeatable.

I wouldnt be bringing up roids because I know enough to know that Giambi was one of the only ones caught, but that it is more pervasive than you could imagine. Beckett missed his pitch to the 3 hitter. No matter who it is, they would have hit that one out.

Not a good 2nd. And with Mohr/Gonzo to start, we could already be looking towards the 4th.

Shows what you know.

I have got to admit that these yes guys suck--but they are better than a lot of other guys out there. **cough** whitesox **cough** . They are homers, but they seem to be fair so far! They went out of their way to show that call was a strike to bernie!

On a side note----that bucky dent commercial wasn't needed!

location is the key to any pitchers success. If you cant locate well, you wont pitch well. If you dont have good stuff but can locate, 9 times out of 10 you'll pitch better than a guy with great stuff who cant locate.

I really have a feeling you would.

Like I said, he missed his spot. But there's no denying the sketchiness that surrounds HGH.

Beckett looks like he is starting to get a little more comfortable--let's hope it continues!

He's getting more comfortable because he is facing Posada, Cano and Bernie. Posada and Bernie are close to automatic outs and Cano isnt very selective...

i would have had gonzo try and bunt in the beginning of the AB

atleast hes having a good AB and making RJ throw pitches
