I was thinking of two trade options. How 'bout trading a couple low prospects for Joel Piniero, or trading a low prospect for a lefty specialist, say Cormier or Fultz from Philly.

you could get cormier for a bag of balls. Fultz is their lefty specialist, so you wont be able to pull him away while they are still in contention....

None are an upgrade so I wouldn't move on those.

Piniero is three years removed from his best year. But, if the Red Sox could get him for an extremely low price, I'm talking about Andrew Dobies low, then he would be worth it.

 

As for Cormier, he's been extremely good this year. 11.1 IP 6 H 0 ER, but he'll regress.
