If you hit a double when I was in high school (back in the sixty's) Coach Reed would always call it "Slapin' the Deuce" its a term you hear when your young and it stays with you the rest of your life.

"He just looked terrible in spring training, so bad that one scout said, 'It looks like he's swinging a rubber band,'" said the evaluator. "But what it looks like he's done is stop concerning himself with driving the ball, and focused on hitting the ball hard to all fields.
