Why the F is Cora playing. He's not a better hitter than Gonzo, and Gonzo is a far superior fielder.

 

He's 1-2 with a tremendous hustle double. Sometimes I think people are just searching for something to complain about.

Was the infield in on that ground out to 2b that scored the M's 5th run?

Yeah, it was hit hard right at Loretta, so when he slightly bobbled it, he had no chance to get the runner from 3rd.

Yes, Loretta kind of stumbled a bit and it cost him any opportunity to get Bloomquist at home.

Who's "fault" was it that Bloomquist stole third? Did Tavarez not look him back? Bad throw to Lowell? etc.

 

We can't score with RISP, but the M's reach on an error and score the go ahead run with out a hit or a walk! Go figure.

I don't really think it was anyone's fault. I'm pretty sure Tavarez looked at him the previous pitch, but he just got a really good jump and stole it easily.

I missed the steal because my wife asked me to get her something. She's on bed-rest due to her being 39 weeks pregnant, so I couldn't say no.

i just got back from class and trying to catch up with what has happened thus far, i see manny has a few hits and big pappi is being big pappi. dinardo it seems did his job. come on sox, let's get some runs.

Farg. Mark hit it sharply both of his last two ABs, both just happened to be right at Bloomquist, the person I hate most in the world right now.

Gonzo is the every day SS, and he is the best defensive player on the field. There is no reason to be sitting him this often.
