And, it's perjured, not perjuried.

Perjury is a noun; ....he committed perjury.

Perjure is a verb; ....he perjured himself.

Then where's the other apostrophe? :D

By the way, what's with the "Talksox English class" lately?

We should be stricter when it comes to correcting grammatical errors -- maybe we would start a trend. Seriously, read a paper written by the average High School student. The spelling and grammar are awful -- it's even this way in my Journalism classes in college. I blame it, for the most part, on the internet.

..but yea, you're right, I did forget the apostrophe.

Yeah. Reading a classmates paper is ridiculous, as if writing were hard or something.

Blame word processing. Most kids these days completely rely on spell/grammar checks.

How about blaming the teachers that don't know grammar or spelling.

For every teacher that doesn't know what they're teaching, there are 100 kids not paying attention to teachers who do.

Oh, we have a teacher. Parents are to blame as well, because they should be demanding that the schools hold teachers to higher standards. Too many teachers just don't give a rat's ass, and school administrators are only concerned about squandering their already bloated budgets on more administrative personnel. How many deans and assistant principals does a school need? Is an Assistant Dean of Bathroom Supplies a good expenditure of taxpayer dollars?
