I wanted your personal opinion on weather he did "roids" in Oakland.

 

If you wanted my opinion on whether or not he did them before he was a yanker, then ask me that! Instead you put up some lame joke, and then try to cover it when called on it. I won't repost everything again--go back and read it:

 

 

Stop hiding behind that BS about "hearsay" just so you can say he only did roids as a Yankee.

Just so you know Giambi also admitted using "roids" eariler in his baseball career prior to the Yankees in that grand jury testimony.

 

 

I never gave my opinion, only what i heard about the "game of shadows" book. I haven't read the book (which i stated earlier), but have heard quite a lot about it. All i said was that in the book (as i heard) Giambi went out west and hooked up with bonds trainer to see how he kept bonds "playing at such a high level". That was after he signed with the yankers. I never heard anything in the book that said he took them before hand (which apparently he did), so i was sticking to the facts as i heard them. This is not some witch hunt, yankee hater, post--i was just listing the facts as i knew them, not my opinion.

 

That big flush you hear is your BS theory about theres only proof of him using roids in a Yankees uniform going down the toliet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

 

Ok for the 5th time, i never said it was my theory-i was stating the facts as i knew them--which i said when i posted them. Why don't you stop playing the "everyone hates me cause i'm a yankees fan, and you only hate Giambi becuase he's on the yankees" card and stick to the facts of the thread--you can go back and read them. I really could care less when or with what team he did them; he did them and that's my problem. I also respect him for coming clean unlike sheff and bonds--he did and took the heat for it. What really bothers me is that babe ruth is about to be passed by a cheater! (i don't expect you to defend bonds though cause he's not playing for the yankees)

 

If you can stick to the facts, then we will get along fine----i don't care who someone plays for; if they cheat then they should be gone! (i won't even bring up game 7 of the 03 alcs, and the 2 homers giambi hit while he was juiced up--that's another thread all together)

and you clearly dont know much on it ESP since you didnt relize Giambi admitted using roids prior to the Yankees (oh I'm sorry there was no credible proof he only admitted it before the grand jury) so why are you talking about it?

I dont really care if you hate the Yankees or not but how can you say that with a stright face when you refer to Yankees as "Yankers"?

As far as the bandwagon thing goes ... I've stated before that I became a Red Sox fan because I liked Pedro when I saw him with the Expos, and I followed him to the Red Sox. I would root for the Sox because I wanted Pedro to win ... by the end of the year I wasn't just a Pedro fan I was a Red Sox fan. Yeah I can't claim to be a lifelong fan, but who would jump on a Red Sox bandwagon that hadn't had a World Series trophy on it for 80 years?

Kinda like me with the Titans. I was a big Eddie George fan and when he went to the Titans I followed.

Ok, when i posted first on the subject--all i was saying was that i had cold pizza on one day and they were talking about the book, and that Selig could throw bonds and sheff out of baseball if it was "in the best interest of the game". Then after another comment i posted:

(he was actually referring to sheff there) Now i didn't read either canseco's book or "game of shadows". I was merely commenting on what i heard on the show that morning, and what their thoughts were. I didn't know if Giambi was using roids in oakland, i suspected he was, but on the show they said he wasn't and that he didn't start until he got hooked up with Greg anderson. Giambi was already doing hardcore steroids when he was in Oakland according to Canseco's book. He got into Balco once he joined the Yankees.

From the beggining my post was just stating on what i had heard and that "according to cold pizza" selig could kick bonds and sheff out "in the best interest in baseball". I understand your need to point out that giambi was using before he came to NY, and that's fine. Sorry if i offended you with the "yankers" comments. My best friend is a NY fan, and we always banter back and forth, and i started doing that a long time ago. Sorry, i didn't realize that something like that would get under your skin so bad!

Sorry I didnt mention it JUST then. I mentionted it a couple of posts prior to your last one. Again try and find a quote where you say your only doing this because you hate the Yankees.

Sorry Charlie, you mentioned Giambi first. Here just take a look for yourself:

What exactly is needed for proof then? These are all confirmed sources form the government, and testimony given under oath during the balco scandal! In regard to Giambi, on Cold Pizza this AM they were referencing the book and said that apparently Giambi really got rolling on the roids that winder becuase his dad was such a fan of the game and a perfectionist--he wanted to do well for him!

As I showed before I responded to your post about Giambi. You brought him up. Also, my need to point out that Giambi used roids prior to the Yankees comes from you repeating false info you got from some show. If you put as much time into doing some reserch as you do to you punctuation there would be no problem.
