checking over my posts... huh it doesnt say that I dont think the Pats will win the division. I just want to know what the Patriots plan is. In Pioli's regime, this is the biggest player that he has let walk into free agency. Someone they couldve franchised for 3 million, I believe?

Sorry that tonight hearing about Vinatieri leaving, felt like a sucker punch for me. It is just a business, and Im trying to stay optimistic as I can be. He will truely be missed

The Dolphins are winning this division. Don't even doubt it. They added Culpepper to the offense, (which by the way has turned around completely) and added Will Allen as their 2nd corner, who is by far better than Sam Madison. It'll probably be close, but seriously the Patriots need to do some work. They have no running game, and their recieving corps is decimated. That defense still has the potential to be good, but they need to add more.

the dolphins are definately up and coming, and if theyre going to stand a chance next year they need Culpepper in his pro-bowl form. I do agree the Pats need to do something fast and need to find good replacements for all theyve lost already.

per rotoworld:

Keyshawn Johnson's next free agency visit is going to be in Foxboro

Bill Moulds has been granted permission from the Bills to seek a trade. Top of his wish list is the Patriots, but trades within own divisions rarely happen.

Bill Moulds is such a stud. I'd love to have a guy like Bill on my team.

Not Eric though. Erics terrible.

Couple of things that are not accurate. Schefter said that it would make sense for the Pats to talk to Keyshawn, but he did not say if they have actually scheduled a visit so they may want to totally stay away from him. Also the Moulds thing was total speculation. A lot of what Rotoworld offers is speculation, so for all we know Moulds could not want to play at New England at all for whatever reason (weather, different division, etc.). I know they're little details but accuracy is the most importance (learned that from my journalism class).

That being said don't count out Moulds to come here. Remember the Pats traded Bledsoe to Buffalo not long ago and I think the Bills desperately want to get rid of Moulds.

Id love it if the Pats were able to get ahold of Moulds. Belichick could keep his oft rants at bay, for him & branch to give Brady 2 reliable receovers down the field.

He would have to take a significant pay cut if he comes here because belichick wouldn't take him at his current price if he got him in a trade.

Let's chill about predicting who wins the division until after free agency, the draft, minicamps and preseason, eh?

Abraham deal is about the best the Jets could do. I think that they will have a lot of options on draft day, and it will be fun to see how they shake out.

Steve Smith isn't a "me" type player. The only reason he was upset during the Seahawks game is because when he was open Delhomme didn't get the ball to him. He knows that he basicly carries the offense (until now). He knows he needs the ball to do that also. Thats why he was complaining, nothing else. He just wants to win.

Yeah he's still the biggest thing on that offense. If you think MeShawn is more of a playmaker than Steve Smith I only have 1 thing to say to you ...

Just heard on the radio that Ashley Lelie told the Broncos that they need to either make him the teams number one reciever or trade him. Good luck getting the number one as long as Rod Smith is on the depth chart, Lelie -- gotta quit underachieving first.

In response to this, I also heard on the radio that the Denver Broncos are in talks with the San Francisco 49ers to make another trade, sending Ashley Lelie and their #15 (?) to San Francisco for the #6 pick (and possibly a few throw ins or whatever to even it out) to pick Vernon Davis.

I hope this trade goes down!

edit: Sorry, haven't seen anything online about it.
