BC played the best game they could have played and still came up short on a night when Duke did not look good at all. you have to at least give BC some credit for being in this game and making it entertaining.

No, BC MADE Duke not look good. BC actually just played better than Duke at some moments. BC is a damn good team, and proved it tonight. The fact that they were able to make it this close at the end without Craig Smith or Sean Marshall says a shitload. BC is a fantastic basketall team, and will give any team in the NCAA a run for its money. The transition from Big East to ACC has sunk in, and BC is here to make noise.

BC should stop scheduling a shitload of cupcakes at the beginning of the season to show that they really are that good. instead of loading up on the holy cross's, stony brooks, savanah states they need to play better teams in order for people to take them seriously. duke is a great team but had this game been at duke frankly BC would have gotten whipped. i like BC but they never can take that next step.

What about Duke didn't look great last night? I don't see how you can say Duke didn't look good ... and then say you have to give BC credit. If Duke had an off night then BC should have been able to beat them, and I'm not giving them credit for anything.

The main problem and the reason there were so many turn overs by BC is because Duke roped them into playing fast paced break away basketball and thats not BC's strength. In the middle of the first half BC still had a small lead until they started trying to run a fast break offense because Duke was. If BC would have just stuck to their gameplan they may have won last night.

 

I definatly underrated BC.

they have the premier shooting guard and a smart point guard who was the top recruited qb coming out of high school last year

 

they will own the tempo if you let them,skinner allowed it to happen and the devils were up 17 before you could say TIME OUT.

 

those turnovers im somewhat ok with considering the venue.

it was when they were forcing the ball inside into smith when he was being doubled that drove me nuts...

hinnant had his best game in a bc uniform,he played bigger than the 12 he got

rice didnt but hes a freshman,in 6 weeks look for him to be ready for the tourney

One of BC's biggest problem last night was the entry pass. Once they got into the offense they would roll, but the first pass to get the play started was where most of BC's turnovers occured.

Not much to say about the game last night except that Skinner's lack of vision that allowed to get down 17 put them in too deep a hole to climb out of despite that monster run to blow the number at the end

K has earned the respect in my eyes,he always has good kids,kids you may or may not like as basketball players but good kids nonetheless

his school recruits itself in hoop

ive heard of this pawlus kid from my coworkers in syracuse for a couple years now and this other Mc mac sumthin,the tall white freshman,looks like the real deal as well.

 

as it stands i like bc's oppurtunities in march to get to 16 maybe an 8 and if all the cards are lined up and the heavens open they maybe big and experienced enuff to crack the 4

But everything you say about the program and K is true. They've been a perennial Final Four favorite since Johnny Dawkins took em to the National Championship game vs Lousville and Out of Service Pervis in 86

 

 

As for March. . .The team w/ Billy Curley that sodomized Carolina didn't have half the talent this team does.
