I always thought that was a cartoonish name for a hockey team anyway.

 

Though Giggy's helmet has always been pretty cool.......

 

When Disney sold the team, the marketing angle with the movies went as well. Not that "Ducks" is exactly an intimidating sports name but it beats the previous version.

I really do hope they end up revamping the whole identity like the article says they might.

Hey, the Raptors are extinct species.

 

Rob Babcock ran the Raptors into the ground. His incompetency rates right up there with the worst of them.

 

This sounds like a ploy to change uniform styles and thus making more money for Anaheim.
