Score 1 point for the good guy :D

Yeah, great game. Washington was my pick, and the best possible opponent for the Seahawks!

See Red, I hope our JAX picks are right. I want the Pats to win, just hope it is by a TD or less.

I'm a Skins fan, so call me crazy, but I would have thought a Seahawks fan would have wanted the Giants or Panthers. Both have better offenses than Washington, but neither has looked as sharp coming down the stretch, and Washington's defense is starting to really limit opponents right now.

The Skins are starting to look good... and it's pissing me off because the Broncos have their first round pick!

I'm 2 to the good also, but shillingouttheks and ARod2212 both made the same picks I did, so I won't stand alone at the top if Carolina and Pittsburg beat the spread.

I'm 1-1 with the Pats big win.

Washington's offense is abysmal. Same performance they had today in Seattle, and the Hawks win in a blowout. I have to admit, before today I was kind of hoping for the Giants, but I'm happy with the Skins also. Only team in the wild card games that I think could beat the Hawks next week was the Panthers.

I think abysmal is a bit of hyperbole. Inconsistent is how I'd classify it. They've put up some big numbers against some good teams. But, yeah, if the offense plays like it did today, they have no shot in Seattle. That said, today's performance was against the #1 defense (in yds/gm) in the league. They were able to put up 35 points against the same defense just a few weeks earlier. See, inconsistent.

10-0, Carolina with 0:34 left in the half. 12.5-0 with the line.

EDIT: Clock runs out, so that's the score at the half.

Giants get a gift from the zebras. They really ought to make that reviewable.

It is in college, ain't it?

Oh well, Giants can't convert on it anyway.

I'm not sure if they can or not.

Here's why I don't like it (I'm not suggesting that you don't agree, just want to voice my opinion). There are two possible rulings on the field for the outcome. Either it is ruled a fumble or down by contact. One of those can be overturned the other cannot. It's an uneven system.

Like you said, Giants didn't take advantage, so it only affected field position.

They can't review it because once the whistle blows all players are supposed to stop, so they can't give Carolina the football because they recovered the football after the whistle blew. That case wasn't a really good example of why it's not reviewable, but there are other examples such as where the whistle blew and players were just standing around because they heard a whistle and didn't go after the football.

I agree completely. Besides, looks like it's going to even itself out and benefit the Panthers, here.

I don't like the system of replay in the NFL. I'd rather just do all booth reviews like in the college bowl games. It didn't come up very often, and it's not the coaches responsibility to get a call right, it's the referees!

I understand the whistle argument, but the system would seem to do a better job of getting the call right if they at least awarded possession to the proper team at the spot of the fumble. And, you know as well as I do, that the whistle rarely stops players from trying to gain possession of the ball. Just say it can't be advanced from there.

Yeah, I do like the college system much better. However, I think a mix of the two would be best. Leave it up to the booth to call for reviews, but they can mess it up too, like when Young's knee was down before the TD pitch in the Rose Bowl, so give the coaches one challenge.

I think that would be a good way to do it. After the whistle, if there is a loose ball, players are allowed to go after the ball, but like you said, it can't be advanced.

Currently, referees are currently told to call the play as a fumble so it's reviewable, but that hasn't been the case in the two times it's come up today.

17 (19.5) - 0, half way through the 3rd, and the Giants can't seem to move the ball at all. Not looking for for those NY picks.

Giants are looking as bad offensively as the Redskins did yesterday.

I think the Panthers are a dangerous team... they were very good on the road, this year.

Another INT, but it looks like it's coming back.
