97. I don't know just a random number. They still have Dontrelle Willis and Miguel Cabrera which is more than what other teams such as the Rockies and Pirates have. I don't think they'll be the worst team in the majors.

They have sooo much talent, most of which needs another few years in the minors. They're gonna be my NL team next season, I would love to see them get .500. I'm going with 81 games.

I will definitely be interested in the Marlins next year. So many variables with all that young prospective talent on the field. If they catch a breakout year from a couple of those players, then they might threaten 80 wins, but I doubt it.

Willis is a stud, but he's only going to be on the field a maximum of 35 games. The rest of their rotation is full of question marks, although Mitre looks like he could have the stuff to succeed at the MLB level.

Cabrera is a beast, but I don't think it is any coincidence that his best year came with Delgado hitting behind him in the lineup. He is the only threat on that lineup right now. He may see less pitches to hit than Ortiz would without Manny behind him.

100-110 losses sounds about right for a squad full of little-to-no experience kids, but like I said, some of those kids have high ceilings and if a couple can start to realize some of their potential, then who knows.

Cabrera and Dontrell = Perez and Bay

Dontrell and Cabrera can only do so much. I dont see them losing 100 games but they'll get damn close. 95-100

I said 90 - 95, I don't think they are as bad as people say. At least a couple of the young players could have big seasons.

Ask the Pirates how hoping young players come around works out.

I for one will be watchin hanley if he indeed gets the Major League job, that'll be exciting to see.
I really hope we didn't trade away a perennial All star in Hanley.

Well we acquired a perenial Cy Young contender who is 25, and a 3B who as long as he doesn't play like last year is a perenial all star. It was a great trade. We gave up Hanley who could be great and got Beckett who is already great and Lowell who could be great again.

Yeah, as long as our guys perform I won't regret the deal, and wish the best for Hanley no matter what

Wow, these guys are really surprising me.

Anyway, did anyone see Cabrera's game-winning RBI last night against the Orioles? It was off the first pitch of an intentionall walk. I've never seen anything like that before.
