ANAHEIM -- The Angels took the next step in bolstering their pitching staff by acquiring left-handed reliever J.C. Romero from the Twins in exchange for Minor League infielder Alexi Casilla.

Never heard of the guy the Twins are gettin, but it sounds like the Angels ripped em, why couldn't we have done that?

Nah, i don't think so. The Angels didn't have a single lefty in their bullpen last year, it was the only minor weakness of their bullpen.

 

In fact, i think Romero may be their only lefty on the entire staff. Colon, Lackey, Escobar, Lackey, Donnelly, Shields, K-rod, they are all righties. This gives them a lefty option.

the angels ripped them because you have never heard of a prospect? there are idiot yankee fans that say we ripped the marlins becuase they have never heard of the 4 spects we gave the marlins.

 

it's not even as if romero is that good. relieviers are supposed to get outs, he walked about 40 batters in 60 innings, that's no good.
