I would like to thank Pitt for beating West Virginia. I'm fairly sick of hearing about Pittsnoggle and company. Glad UConn doesn't have to go on the road to Pitt, this year.

I guess I'll take that thank you as the lone Pitt fan here. If UConn played in the Pete they'd no longer be the #1 team.

The Big East tourney is going to be awesome.

ESPN used an awful, awful picture of him...

It's a shame he couldn't get Mizzou turned around.

LOL, but let's recap, he:

la) screwed his best player's gf

B) promised a center a car

c) used up all the hair care product in the big 12.

A's not so bad, B's everywhere... but C...:thumbdown

NOVA's lightning quick, good shooting 4 guard lineup vs. Gay, Boone, Armstrong and the other tall, long athletic freaks of UCONN. Which style will impose their will on the other? COuld be a VERY up tempo game.

If Nardi is in, him, Foye, and Ray can light it up outside...negating a lot of the shot blocking advantage.

But, I'm going with the UConnvicts in this game. They are way to big and talented, I think the score may even be lopsided.

It was Nova by 1 at the half, but UConn has come out on fire to start the second half. Already up 6, I believe, about 2 minutes in. Lowry has been impressive, so far, though.

Uconn has looked absolutely pathetic down the stretch. All sorts of open looks for Nova. 'Nova up 6 with two minutes left and on the line -- I'm about ready to concede defeat on this one. Missed free throws by UConn, plus all sorts of open looks for Villanova have been a huge difference down the stretch.

I should add first half turnovers to that list, as well as poor shot selection for Connecticut.

I wish Josh Boone would show up for one of these games.

*edit: 4 missed free throws down the stretch, two of them being the front end of a 1 and 1. In a 5 point game... ridiculous.

Game over, 'Nova wins.

Anyone who watched the game... can you tell me how that final steal wasn't a foul? Marcus Williams lost possession of the ball, was able to regain possession and mantain his dribble, and then he got taken out by the guy diving for the ball.

Yeah, I would like to point out that I called Nova to win this game...

UConn will beat 'em in Storrs. With as bad as Connecticut played and shot free throws down the stretch, still had a chance to win.

Speaking of bad free throw shooting, I believe BC was barely over 50% tonight. WAY too close of a game vs a team like Stony Brook.

duke will probably coast the rest of the season as the top team in country with the cupcake schedule they have.

Going undefeated in the ACC is no easy feat. I don't think it has anything to do with the schedule, it's because they're a damn good team.

Relative Percent Index; the formula is 25% team winning percentage, 50% opponents's average winning percentage, and 25% opponents's opponents's average winning percentage. ESPN.com has RPI for the current season.

Duke ranks #1. Don't run your mouth.

the ACC is very weak this season and i will be shocked if they do not go undefeated.
