I know this has nothign to to with the NFL, but the NewMexico Lobos if they win tonight, they willbe going to their 4th straight Bowl game in. isnt that superb? lol Yet knowone really knows who the NewMexico Lobos are
Posted
The dallas cowboys and Detroit Lions game will be on fox , in like 30 minutes if you want to watch it, i know i will be lol.

Can't get it here. Keep us ( me ) posted. Pats / Saints, 0-0 so far Pats just got a punt and start at their own 2 yd line.

patriots win yet another nailbiter. their defense was top noth but started to fall apart midway into the 2nd quarter onto the 4th quarter drive by the saints which had almost tied it, saved by eugene wilson's inteception in the endzone. Tom Brady finished with 222 yards, mostly consistent with short passes, but still did have 3 TDs and no INT's. Wasn't he trying to much on the hail mary's?

I at least guessed right Pats would score 24.

first time win back to back games, and lead the AFC east 6-4

Another Plus: We have no Corey Dillon, no Kevin Faulk. Worry?

Heath Evans: 74 yards, looks like he didnt come back down to what he's been like before

Patrick Pass: 53 yards, thats 2 fullbacks getting 127 yards--better than Dillon has done this season in a single game

Game shouldn't of been as close as it was in the end. Patriots really had full control of this game. Don't really have much more to say this was really a blah game.

How bout them Bears? Hmmm...I remember picking them to win some big games AND the NFC North before the season started. HOW BOUT THEM BEARS?

Meh, I think the Cowboys or Bucs have bigger chances to win the NFC than Eli. Eli has next to no experience in big games. Let alone the playoffs. It's not necessarily his first year, but it's his first year as a full time starter, and we all saw what happened to Big Ben last year. Eli will need a year or two to adjust to playoff atmospheres. If that Giants team sticks together next year, they have a legit chance.

But for me, with the Cowboys or Bucs (haha, Sox Fan in Tex won't like this AT ALL) I'm gonna have to pick teh Cowboys. They got the experience with Bledsoe, and one of the most underrated receiving cores in Keyshawn, Glenn, and Price who can make big plays. Not to mention Julius Jones is pretty good too.

Now for the AFC, in my view, if the Pats make it into the playoffs, they will at least make the AFC Championship Game. We've seen it time and time again, you don't beat Belichick twice in the same season. Now, matching up against the Colts, I can guarantee it would be a better game than what we witnessed a couple weeks ago. I'm not concerned about the Chargers, because I have faith in Belichick, and he's just a genius anyway (even though Schottenheimer (sp?) does scare me a bit). We've got the experience in the playoffs, and we have Tom effin' Brady.

Thoughts about NFC/AFC?

wow just damn. Last week the Jets are beat by the Panthers in a 30-3 mauling. The Broncos have shutout them at their own stadium. Jets offense held onto the ball for just 18 of the 60 minutes played, gave up 5 turnovers. The three Jets "fill-in" quarterbacks used were no match for Denver.

This is simply not their year. Now Brooks Bollinger will be out for some time. He has sustained a concussion and was seen vomiting on the sideline. Vinny Testaverde had gotten hurt again.

Kliff Kingsbury is expected to be the starter against the Saints next Sunday.

i totally remember you saying Bears will be on top of the division, i also remember me syaing the same thing!. I can agree with you on the Cowboys taking the NFC if they can beat the seahawks. they so had a chance to do it too!. OKay now about the Bellichick thing, . the eagles have never been beatin twice in a year by the same team. since whats his anme has been the Coach, till this year. so it could happen

Just for the record, The Cowboys will lose to the Broncos on Thanksgiving. Jake Plummer, possible NFL MVP, has now gone 8 games without an INT and his stats are as good as, if not better than, John Elways in the two years that the Broncos went back to back. Plus, the running game is as good as ever, and the defense has been great.

uhh i seriously doubt the Broncos will beat the Cowboys thinksgiving. The Cowboys dont have to worry about the Broncos running game because they havent let up hundred yards rushing yet. But the passing game could be dangerous, though i dont think it will effect them because they are pretty solid this year. We dont knwo so we will just have to wait till thursday

The Patriots D will face their true test next Sunday against the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium. The Chiefs are the toughest team on the Pats's 2nd half of their schedule. Secondary will have their hands full with the elsuive Tony Gonzalez.

for Patriots fans ;)

Pluses to think about

--Even without Faulk and Dillon, the Evans/Pass duo tore up almost 130 rushing yards

--The Patriots D-Line is starting to be a brick wall to the running game, 77 yards allowed to Miami and 87 yards allowed to New Orleans

--"I get a little help from my friends", Expected to return for the Chiefs game are Corey Dillon, Kevin Faulk, Matt Light, Bethel Johnson, David Givens, Monty Beisel, and Daniel Graham

--In Belichick we trust

--Fellow future Hall of Famers Tom Brady and Adam Vinatieri, nuff said
