today's most uplifting game has been the incredible come from behind win of the chiefs over the raiders, 27-23. Trent Green had done the "Tom Brady"-like 4th quarter touchdown drive with 1:30 left on the clock. Even more inspiring he had on his mind of that he buried his father last week who was just 58 years old. Just the emotions of seeing him on the sidelines embracing with his team of this great win for his father had really got to me.

 

Way to go Green, i know he was rooting for you up in heaven.

But a rough day for my teams, as the Knicks lose by 1 after staging a pretty impressive comeback, and then the Jets play hard but dont come through.

 

Oh well.

i still think a plus is taken for the jets from this other tough loss. Brooks Bollinger is proving well enough that he should be the starting QB, not Testaverde

I think the Pats could win the east if half the team forgot to show up for the rest of the games ... what a pathetic division.

 

I don't know if everyone else watched the game last night, but I found something very interesting. For a few years now I've heard just about every day during football season how Belichick is a GENIOUS, but when he makes bad decisions during the course of the game, like he did twice last night, there is no mention of him being an idiot. If you can praise someone you should also be able to tear them down.

just about everyone has pointed out this is the worst it has been for the patriots in some time, and yes the secondary is depleted by injuries. the injury reserve is littered with 4 secondary players, along with matt light who was brady's main bodyguard, and backup running backs Pass and Faulk.
