Saw this on a Red Wings forum. If I'm not mistaken, Chris Chelios had been to a lot of Cubs games.

I hope the White Sox winning it results in people jumping back off the Red Sox bandwagon. Too many people coincidentally 'found' their Red Sox merchandise following their World Series win and I happened to get complimented on my Red Sox attire about 3 times as often as before they won.

That's why it's refreshing to see a TRUE Yankee fan, I hate fair-weather Yankee fans who like 'em just because of the 26 WS Rings...When I argue with them all they say is 26 rings, 26 rings. Now they seem to be interested in other sports.

You can keep 'em. I certainly don't want them, they should just stay away from baseball in general.

Yeah, that is the worst. Bandwagon fans ruin everything. Imagine how real yankee fans feel about all thier bandwagoners. (If there are still any left ;) )

Before the ChiSox won I didn't see a single White Sox hat in the entire city. Now, today alone, I've seen 2 or 3. I hate the American sports fan ... no loyalty, and constantly jumping on the bandwagon of whoever is trendy.

The White Sox might finally draw 3 million fans next season. Kinda like the Angels, where all of a sudden, there are 40K + fans a game after winning a WS title.

Likewise. I annoys me to no end to see Jimmy "Douchebag" Fallon as the posterboy for Red Sox fans. It's true, he is the eiptome of a Red Sox fan, just go ask him yourself if you don't believe me.
