The Red Sox today announced their 2006 schedule and ticket prices, which represent a 5 percent overall increase from 2005. The team, which will open the season in Texas on Monday, April 3, will keep prices the same for about 70 percent of tickets.

There not all on weeknights. 2 of the series are on weeknights and 2 are on the weekends.

Actuallyyyyy, in May and June there are 4 Sox/Yanks series that fall on weeknights. The only 2 series that fall on the wknd nights are the ones in August and September

They hade it made last year with the Sox-Yankees opening day, maybe switch it so we have opening day and they have last series, though it'd suck if it came down to that series. Why do we start in Texas? At least have us play some AL E division team.

...makes no sense to me. like I have no problem with a 2-game Yankee-Sox set, but not for the first series of the season between the two teams. There is going to be so much anticipation for just 2 games.
