Fine, because thats part of the game. Angel fans act like their the only ones not getting calls. Agian look at the Cano playin the ALDS. Further more, I hear this same s*** from some Packer fans about bad calls. Tough s***, a call may hurt you but you shouldnt put yourself in the position where a call can cost you the game.

True, BUT a call shouldn't lead to the winning play. Regardless of how he pitched (Game 2, I haven't seen tonights game, after game 2 I lost interest), It lead to the winning play, at least go to extras.

Regarding the Cano call; from the official rules page at mlb.com.

Rule Section 7.09

(k) In running the last half of the distance from home base to first base while the ball is being fielded to first base, he runs outside (to the right of) the three foot line, or inside (to the left of) the foul line and, in the umpire's judgment, interferes with the fielder taking the throw at first base, or attempting to field a batted ball; The lines marking the three foot lane are a part of that "lane" but the interpretation to be made is that a runner is required to have both feet within the three foot "lane" or on the lines marking the "lane."

Cano did not have both feet inside the lane, and his body position interfered with Erstad's ability to play the ball. That was actually a good call.

As far as saying "you shouldn't be in a position where the blown call makes you lose", what the f*** is up with that? If you play good enough to tie, then you should tie, not lose.

As I typed that, the 1B ump missed the tag on Podsednik that got him on the pick-off move. Then he steals and scores. It's not getting any better for the Halos.

Holy s***! Another bad call! Podsednik was out at 2nd. Wow.

HOLY s*** YOU NEVER SEE AN UMP GET THAT WRONG. Are you f***in kidding me, Fox is looking at every play for a blown call. I bet if they look they can find some that went agianst the Sox, but of course they wont do that. It also seems more and more like people are rooting agianst the sox, for no reason.

Can't you just f***ing admit it? The White Sox are getting lucky breaks way too many times.

no because I bet if fox looked they find calls that went agianst the sox. If fox didnt replay over and over and over every bad call that went agianst the Angels, there wouldnt be as much controversy.

oh dude calm down. We get it, when you talk in CAPs, you are serious haha.

when you see the instant replays and actually follow the rules, yes this umpriing team is blowing calls left and right. I can recall a series against the Rangers where the umpiring team in all 3 games had made multiple ******** calls against the Sox

Posted
No, because you people make it seem like it's unthinkable that a call goes agianst the Angels. Im sick of this anti-Chicago White Sox ******** from people.

Haha, right.....it's FOX's fault. Are you serious? They replay every close call. In game two they replayed the Rowand play at home and the Crede play at second. As it turns out, both calls were correct.

If you weren't rooting for the White Sox, you'd think it was B.S. like everyone else. But since you are pleased with the result of all these bad calls, you fall back to old reliable, "s*** happens, it's part of the game" excuse. Very transparent.

dude omg this doesnt have anything to do with the angels, its the umpires we are pissed about. we get that you are rooting for the white sox.

we arent frigging bashing the white sox. i bet if tables were turned and same calls were made on white sox, Fox would be showing the instant replays over and over again

Your right the umps havent made a single bad call agianst the sox. I dont like bad calls, but I hate when people make it seem only the Angels are getting them .

About to be 3 games in a row where a Sox pitcher goes nine. Incredible, lets just hope thats what we talk about after this one.

I think the story of this series has been the OUTSTANDING starting pitching by the White Sox. That starting pitching is what got them that huge lead in the central and thats whats winning for them now. Including the regular season the White Sox are now 10-1 in their last 11 games.

EDIT: 11-1 in their last 12 with this win.

I think it's funny that AJ made the play Paul didnt in game 2. AJ had enough sense to realize it was a close play and tag the batter to make sure he was out.

No it's not. It's called Orange County.

Really? Cuz they're called the LA ANGELS.

Thanks for your consideration. We now return you to your regularly scheduled idiocy.

I know im bias but this is amazing. Im really hoping Jose goes 9 tomm, that would be incredible

I'm loving every bit of every moment.

Now I know how Bostonians felt last year.

Incredible.

Go White Sox!

I'm glad to find there are others. Thanks for saying that.

It's been intolerable. No respect at all for our boys from the national media.

No breaks. No bad calls.

We just WON. WON.

It's like a dream here on the south side. None of us know what it will be like when the Sox clinch. Hopefully it will be tomorrow.

46 years since a visit. 88 years since a crown.

Can't wait. Less than 24 hours til a possible clinch.

Contreras next.

are you kidding me? If we were losing, do you think we'd be crying like you are?

All you anti-Sox guys are acting like it's the SOX fault that the umps miss a call. And Fox just won't let it die. Every inning tonight, tim mccarver was spouting about an 'interference call' on AJ. Why did finley stop running to yell back on the baseline? Run to first, beat the throw, THEN tell the ump.

You're trying to tarnish what should be a magical season for us. Let us be happy, for god's sake. We're GOOD. We're EARNING this.

No problem. Now we can call your team the Boston White Sox of Chicago, since you made a total ass-kissing in your introduction post.

Actually, I am rooting for your team. It just amazes me how many lucky breaks the White Sox get. But then again, the Angels should stop bitching about the White Sox's breaks. They should be blaming this on their anemic offense.

When I spoke well of Bostonians, i meant everyone but you.
