This is a horrendous effort by our ballclub. I'd say they're doing their best, but its Ted Lilly we're talking about here. To me its just a lack of effort.

I think one of the differences between the Jays and us in this season series is summed up in Kevin Millar tonight. Wall-ball double with nobody on. Pop-up with the sacks full. The Jays on the other hand seem to get that double when the bases are loaded, and the pop-up when the bases are empty. It's probably not completely true, but that is what it feels like watching the games against them.

Aside from the fact that our offense runs away as soon as we get men in scoring position, we're also making Ted Lilly look like the Cy Young winner. On top of that, Arroyo felt tonight would be an appropriate night to take a night off.

coming off a sweep on the road, I thought 3/4 was definitely attainable from a lackluster Blue Jays squad, but it's not looking even THAT good that we will split.

This team isn't making the postseason, which is alright IMO. I wouldn't want to watch a team who's pitching staff makes Frank Catalanotto look like a first ballot HOF'er in the playoffs.

well im out for the night, offense just had an anemic 4th inning on 8 pitches and also have gotten 5 men on base, leaving them all on--dont even get me started on bronson, im out for the night, down by 6 and with our bullpen against the blue jays staff, edge goes to toronto--we cant be "oh well" about this, because come tomorrow night we very well could be looking up at the yanks
