I know its a tough comparison because they play 2 different sports but who do you think as been more clutch playing in new england

Obviously, Neither team would be where they are if these two guys didn't create the win time after time.

It's pretty amazing.

You can't compare them. They play 2 different sports, not to mention Papi probably couldn't lift his leg above his waist

But in all seriousness, they're equally important and clutch to each team as they are to each other.

Vinateri. Just imagine the pressure. Time winding down. Super Bowl. Tie game. Thats probably the most pressure you could ever get in any sport. And to make game-winning field goals in s***** conditions, snow, rain, bad fields, loud crowds, I would think will be harder. I mean, barely do they play in the rain in baseball, let alone the snow. Its tough to compare them, but I think Vinateri has won more games with his leg than Ortiz has with his bat.

I agree with Schilling, they're both incomparable. 2 different sports, 2 different jobs. Why does there even have to be a debate. Both guys dominate in the clutch when they're supposed to. They're both great. Let's leave it at that.

I dont know, my vote goes to Ortiz. Adam's ball is being held by a teammate, not moving at 90+ mph twisting and turning. And Ortiz can hit a home run at Yankee Stadium, in front of 55,000 New Yorkers. I think thats much tougher than trying to kick in the snow.

whatever though, not my conversation, ill leave it to the New Englanders.

I can't stand either of them!!! lol

But as an outsider looking in, I would say Vinateri. I mean, the guy just DOES NOT miss. Ortiz on the other hand, scares the crap out of me every time he comes up.

They're both clutch, money players.

Also Id like to add the fact that Vinateri has 18 game winning field goals...

And another thing, I have tried to kick a field goal before, thats one of the toughest things to do. While I used to not be too bad at baseball in my day, granted I only played until I was 13, but stuff like that you also have to look at as well.
