Did anybody see ray, the devil rays mascot, hurting the wally doll. I know some might take it as a joke but I don't. It's a really bad example of a mascot.

Um it's all in pure fun, personally I hate all mascots of any professional sport, I think they're fine in college. But just for doing that doesn't mean he's an *******, I thought it was pretty funny actually.

Wasn't he giving it CPR or w/e? I really don't understand baseball mascots, at least in basketball they jump off trampelines and s***. In baseball they just walk around and hug kiddies. Wallyhas always annoyed me, so it didn;t bother me to see him gettin hit.

Aww well that's not such a bad thing. :dunno: I can't think of the specific school, but some mascots are really annoying heckling the opposing team, its fans, even its mascots. It's not surprising thus when an ass-kicking ensues.

People have to get paid.

I guess I just never liked 'em when i was a kiddie either. I always used to go to Suns games where that Gorilla would slam dunk the ball from like the top of the key (off of trampeline). I'm just sayin maybe they do something more than just walk arond and wave at people.

Some mascots like that turd Youppi up in Montreal, purposely impede you from watching the game. I went to 2 games in Montreal, and we had 1st row seats, where there's a large aisle, that people use to get around the park similar to Fenway. So in the 1st game, Youppi just stood right in front of me and talked to fans right in front of my seat so I couldn't see the game. I politely asked him to move, and he did after a couple minutes. We go again the next night, with the same seats, and all of a sudden he stands literally 2 inches away from me on this rail which was right in front of us and starts clapping his hands to get the "crowd fired up". But it was like he remembered me and was trying to piss me off.

You know the terror level alert system? They should give you the gay level alert system. You've just been upgraded to Red.

The Gorilla owns all mascots. I remember when he came out of the rafters (on some pulley system) and dunked the ball at a game. And now he rolls out on a Suns customized Harley, with a cheerleader (who taught at the school I graduated from :D  ). And when talking about beating up mascots, anyone remember when Charles Barkley kicked the Nuggets mascot while he was "stretching" or when he like jumped him when the mascot held up a sign of Barkley with a picture of a rubber duck. HAHAHAHA, Barkely on the Suns, those were the days. :D

LOL, i remember ALL of hat, you from AZ? I lived there when i was a kid, I used to love the Suns.

Yup, I try to get to as many games as I can. Last year was a complete fun ride. And the Gorilla makes it even more fun. I went to one last year and it was great. Sliding through garbage cans as a human bowling ball, jumping off of tramps and dunking, his cannon that shoots shirts into then stands. He owns. :D

Rocky, the Nuggets mascot, is in a very close second for mascots. I went to a preseason game where Ron Artest went up and blocked one of Rocky's attempts at a halfcourt shot... so Rocky spent the remainder of the game trying to get retaliation. Towards the end of the game, he was going to attempt an elbow drop from a table that Artest was leaning against (he was sitting on the court, not in a chair), and ended up slipping off of the table.

I can't think of any other mascots where the referees wait until he/she is finished to resume play.

You should have told a security guard or something. Doesn't matter if it's the team mascot or not.
