Has anyone here who entered the RSN lottery for the opportunity to purchase playoff tickets heard back yet? I know the winners of the lottery were supposed to be announced sometime today and have the chance to by tickets tomorrow.

From previous experience, if you were selected you'll hear from 5:00 to 9:00 PM depending on your server. If you don't win in this round you'll be notified in the next day or two. However, once registered you're eligible for each succeeding rounds of the play-offs ( previous winners in prior rounds are eliminated ).

BTW - I am not a member of redsox nation or anything, but I entered that lottery. I guess yesterday they would have email me, but of course I got nothing.

I'm sure comcast.net's spam filter just didn't allow one of the most important email's I've ever been sent get through (at least with my luck).

So yeah, I got selected, and of course I bought some:

L41C 45 19 WEB/PHN $23.00

L41C 45 20 WEB/PHN $23.00

Hell yeah bleachers for Game 2. $23 dollars a ticket you say? Ah, but I think not. My total order went like this:

Bleacher seat 1: 23

Bleacher seat 2: 23

Convenience fee 1: 6

Convenience fee 2: 6

Here's the kicker.

SHIPPING: 15 DOLLARS.

That's right, this total order for two bleacher seats ran me to 73 dollars. And I can't even go, so I'm giving the tickets to my younger brother. Call it a birthday present. (I'm in college now, you see, far, far, away from Boston.)

So my first EVER Fenway drawing win, and I can't even go. Oh well.

Well congratulations anyway Calvn, glad to hear of someone being selected. Be interesting to see if your little bro will even be able to see a playoff game now though.
