I'd love to say we have some momentum from the past two games...but...we're playing the D Rays. Hopefully Joe doesn't mess with the lineup, the one from last night produced...to say the least.

hendrickson pitched a 2 hitter vs the yanks last week hopefully he can duplicate it

Mark "Marquis De Sade" Hendrickson? He probably isn't going to replicate it, but the Yankees have Wang going tonight. He'll get bombed, I think the D-Rays can win this game.

The D Rays got 3 runs off of him in 5 last week...and that was his first start off the DL. I doubt he'd do worse his second time on the mound. I would love for him to go out there and be better, but I'm expecting a similar performance to last week. (Which should be more than enough if the bats do half, literally, of what they did last night)

You think the DRays will outslug the yankees? Not a chance, unless Hendrickson goes Cy Young on the Yankees -- I mean, the Yankees take this bum for granted.

Actually they have, 11 times this year. Unless you somehow forget those games.

Wang has low strikeout numbers, and for a team like a Devil Rays who love to swing the bats, they'll make a lot of contact, and their speed (Crawford, Lugo) can leg out infield singles. Cantu and Gomes can crush pitches that Wang leaves in the zone, which he does routinely. Prediction 8-5, Rays.

Wang isnt a strikeout pitcher. Hes a strick ground ball pitcher. The rest of the league (Besides the D-Rays) hit 235 against him, which disproves your "notion" about him leaving pitches in the zone routinely.

Thanks, I believe I said "Low strikeout numbers" apparently English is something you fail to comprehend.

Nice try, but the league has hit .261 off Mr. Wang.

Intresting because I thought I said in that post "(Besides the D-Rays)" the league hits .235 off of "Mr. Wang"(I got that stat from the YES pregame show). Maybe you should re-read my post. Apparently English is something YOU fail to comprehend.

The Boss must of cut off his Green Tea supply.

I guess not.

Joe Torre puts Wang back in despite him blowing a 2 run lead...twice... :thumbdown

Besides the Devil Rays is irrelevant. He is pitching against the Devil Rays tonight, so no one cares about his average against other teams.

Another point.

They threw out the Devil Rays stats to make Wang look better. It's what all hometown broadcasters do. That's like saying this General is good because he beat Germany, and Italy, but you neglect to mentioned he was whipped by the Japanese

Thats not the point at this point. You called me out for saying that his BAA was 235 against all teams but you failed to "comprehend" what I said and in the process you preceeded to belittle me. Plus when you show his BAA against the rest of the teams compared to his BAA against the D-Rays it show how well they hit him compared to other teams SO YES IT IS REVELENT. Thank you come again......

Who cares its the truth. The D-Rays have owned him. They were comparing his stats against other teams vs the D-Rays.

One more thing......how would the D-Rays stats make him look better when they hit him at a 350 clip?

I SAID THEY THREW THEM OUT!

If you throw out his stats against the Rays, then the league hits hit at .235. That's better than .350 correct?

Thank you, you just said it yourself. That's my point from the beginning, on why Wang would have a bad start.

But why try and correct me when I was simply comparing D-Rays BAA against Wang to the rest of the leagues BAA. The only reason why I brought up the AL BAA Wang was that you made it sound like hes a s*** pitcher when its not true.
