whoah... well its me who put up theses stats, and i stand with what ive done---if Millar and Damon's avg drops for what they have done in sept then i'll move them

In my opinion “carrying the team” = RBIs.

I don’t see how could Millar be carrying the team in September if he has only 5 RBIs, yet he played the most.

Olerud who played once every three days has 11 RBIs, Damon and Cora both have 6.

It is probably not accurate to use batting average as the sole indicator of the batter’s contribution to the team. If the team does not benefit from your hit, your hit is worthless(except to you since your batting average will go up).

I guess you could say it is not his fault if his team can’t benefit from his hits, but this is why there is something called “clutch hitter”

Are you going to back it up with stats, Risp, "clutch", or are ypu going to hide by "my opinion " ? Or are you just trying to make a rather insignificant point that Millar should be relagated to another catagory ( which by the way one ). Your point infers that Olerud should either play more or is carrying the team more than Millar. Both are bull s*** points. Since, Olerud can't play every day, due to his age / health, and Millar is forced into the line-up due to : injury, Olerud's limitation, player availability, or pitcher.
