Earth to Sox starters, he's only f***ing Cory Koskie. Make him move the lumber. Walks in his first 2 AB's last night and another in his first tonight.

so who can be called from teh bullpen

Gonzalez or DiNardo for long relief. If he gets in trouble again before the 6th, I'd look for one of them.

Alex Gonzalez strikes out with 2-down and runners on the corners. In the last 3 series vs. the NYY he has committed 3 or 4 errors, struck out a handful of times, and hit into a couple of DP's. I guess he's the only D-Ray still getting lap dances from Mystique and Aura.

This team specializes in 2 things. Dramatic wins and making s***** pitchers look like Sandy Koufax.

Take a closer look at Downs' numbers. He could be a really good pitcher is he puts up the same K/9 and Opp. Avg against him, in 2006.

Oh, I know he's not that bad. I'm just venting in the moment. I say some absurd things that are pure reaction in the game thread. 5 minutes later it's not a thought in my mind.
