when I read the release it said that he violated the MLB drug use and treatment policy, so I wasnt sure if it was steroids or if he was using drugs (weed, cocaine, etc.). But good thing thats all cleared up for me. This guy was having a pretty good year, and was even mentioned in a few ROY conversations. Too bad for him.

giambi was a man for admitting it and that is whyihe isnt booed with the same enthusiasm as raffy. sheffield, however, is another non-man, or woman, who hasnt amditted to be a cheater like we know he is.

 

Speaking of big names, that brown toothed moron gerbal face gammons really blew another "scoop" what happened to that big name and 50 players..oh well, he's like a weather man no accountability--calls for a storm and its sunny......he just keeps coming up with ******** and his infamous insider info.

IM really tired of this Sheffield stuff...both Giambi and Bonds admitted to using steroids to a grand jury, and to the same grand jury Sheffield admitted to using the cream containing steroids on his knee ONCE. Why would he commit perjury when nobody outside of the courtroom was going to know what was said (at least thats how it was supposed to go, but of coarse as we all know the testimony was leaked to the SF Chronicle). Why would he risk doing time for a felony by lying about that??

I give Giambi credit for admitting it. I really do. But if you cheat the game, I'm going to hate you. No matter what. If Schilling took steroids, admitted it, I'd be like, "Cool, thanks for admitting it, but I think you're a f***ing douche bag." Same goes for any Sox player, Yankee, or non-Sox/Yankee player.

Because that kind of BALCO 'roid is hard (or impossible?) to trace, and perjury is one of the hardest crimes to prove.

but if Giambi and Bonds had no problem admitting steroid use in their testimony then why would Sheffield. And why would he admit to using the cream on his knee, if he was going to lie he would have probably denied any type of steroid use whatsoever.

 

Is it that hard to accept the fact that it is possible for someone who wears pinstripes to be a good player without the aid of performance enhancing drugs?
