If those are them, then those are going to be some great games

Wells has an advantage over Small, but Samll has still come in huge for us(6-0)

I'm not sure where to lean in the next one, Chacon has been great last start, but the one before it wasn't anything great, and Schilling could be great if he finds his stuff

Wakefield, I'm not really sure of what his numbers are, someone will need to fill me in on that, but Johnsons been great latley

I'm excited for these games

If Joe starts Leiter then hes an idiot, Apperently if you have pitched in big games before but you stink he will start you over a guy who has more talent.

If he does it, I will officially join the "Fire Joe" club. He'd most likely sit down Small (who just pitched a complete game shutout of a play off contender) for Leiter (who didn't last an inning against the same team.)

Leiter shut down the sox once already....lefty against the sox is better.....is it really that horrible of a decision???

Yes, it is. The first time we see any pitcher we suck. Then we turn it around because we know what to expect.

Wakefield vs Johnson...I'm pretty sure (even though I don't have stats/numbers to back me up because I'm too lazy to go searching for them) that, if I remember correctly, Wakefield has historically had a lot of success against the Yanks, so this match-up wouldn't be in the Yanks favor. Especially with the Big Unit's streakiness this year. But anything can happen in the game of baseball.

The Yankees hit Wakefield pretty well his last start (I think he gave up 3 HR). This year Wakefield is 1-2 with a 3.58 ERA against the Yankees. Not bad at all.
