Just kidding, but I'd hate to see the unconfirmed version.

no nesn just showed the scheduled starters, and it had said curt schilling to get the start for Sunday's game. I know if Curt would have gone on Monday, it wouldve been a week for him since Tampa Bay game, maybe Sox's front office didnt want him to stay out that long from pitching, routine they want to keep him on.

Im going to tonight's game behind home plate. Rafael Rafael Rafael, trust me even if you wear earplugs, they just wont help you in Fenway Park ;) I was at the Texas Rangers game where Kenny Rogers started, and we booed him every time he came onto the field and left the fiel. We will make it even worse for Palmeiro, I assure you that.

During the 2004 season, Curt posted regularly over at SoSH (SonsofSamHorn.com), as I'm sure some of you are aware since the media drew attention to it. I'm not a member there (didn't feel like submitting an "application" email), but I did register to read the posts. Here is something I found in a thread titled "Let's talk about Curt Schilling" that was posted last night:

Interesting thread. Was heading to bed and happened by while logging out of EQ:)

The media hoopla over posting here was more trouble than it was worth. I'd much rather do the give and take here, like we had it last year, but there was and is way too much drama involved for everyone.

Couple things. Hindsight is never wrong, and coming back in April was wrong, but the team could only go on what I told them and I thought I could make it work. Obviously I couldn't and didn't.

That being said, and I know alot of people jumped off this bandwagon months ago, and even more so since then, and yet even more don't want to hear it, but the ankle doesn't hurt, and mobility wise it's fine. Velocity is fine as well. If you watch the 2 starts I have made, almost every single well struck ball is on a hanging split, the exception being Lugo's triple which was a horrid location mistake. The split is the main issue right now, and I will hold off commenting further on it until I see whether or not the work over the last 2 days has paid off on Monday. Consistent location is a byproduct of work, mine is not nearly as sharp as it can be, but its ok and getting better.

I can sit here and tell you I think, honestly think, I can be myself, the sub 7.00 ERA guy again, and by again I mean before this years over, but that really won't mean a whole lot, it's all about going out and getting it done over the next 8 weeks, so that's where it stands on my end.

BTW, I do a weekly radio show on EEI, no need to forward this to them if you are a poster or an observer here. And if you are print media, 162 games a year, for the last 2 years, I have been at the same locker..........
