If anyone doubts how desperate the bullpen situation is, now this kid may jump up to Boston from Portland in only his first year in pro ball. I realize the kid tosses some gas but consider what happened to Cla Meredith this year. It's a gamble to think he's ready.

I say go for it. This kid has the attitude and much better stuff than Cla Meredith could ever hope to have. I've heard he looks better than Manny Delcarmen and if thats the case we should expect nothing less. He might have a rough outting but Terry just needs to play him and get him some innings to find a groove. V-tek can certainly help the kid along. Even if he gets roughed up a little its not any worse than Remlinger.
