Hah, Kings get a rare win in Boston. I believe the Bruins' record against the Kings in Boston is 44-12-6 (including tonight's game).

Next stop: YS's team.

Yep, I'll be at that game. Should be very exciting.

Alexander > Sidney

(As of right now, of course)

In my opinion, the Calder race isn't even close - Ovechkin should win it by a landslide. He is far more responsible for the Caps being competitive on a nightly basis than Crosby could ever dream of.

He is a phenom but he's Russian and the Canadian media can never bring itself to admit Russians are pretty damn good at playing hockey. Think about it. Crosby will be a good player but I highly doubt he'll be Gretzky-esque. He's the top pick from a so-so draft. Ovechkin is an all around player who doesn't whine. He hits, he passes, he skates, he passes, he scores. He does everything. Plus he's the #1 pick from the best draft in perhaps 20 years or so. He's the cream of a cream of the cream of the crop draft class. Phaneuff is also a monster who doesn't get a lot of press.

But Crosby is only 18 and two years younger than Ovechkin, straight out of juniors compared to playing three years in the Russian pro leagues, so we'll see.

Are you suuuuurrre there was a game tonight?

I think so, what were the other 19,000 people at the Arena doing? But this game was decided 5-6 minutes into the game. Great Game from a Sabres Fan point of view, and a great way to get started on a 6 game road trip.

2 Hat tricks, One Player got his first NHL goal, and one got his first NHL Point. I've been saying all along that this team is for real and the Kings are no bottom feeder team, solid win.

2 in a row....any chance we can win 3 tomorrow when i go to the game. 3 is called a winning streak something the bruins have not had all year.

Rangers are solid this year, but I hope the Bruins can finally settle into a hot streak. They beat a struggling, but solid Flyers team last night. I hope they can stretch this streak into 6-7 games which is what they will have to have if they want to make the playoffs. They are only 4 games (8 points) out of the playoffs and they jumped over 2 teams last night. So the playoffs aren't that far out of reach, but we will need long winning streaks and not just ones of 3 or 4 games.

im going to the game too. the way the bruins have played the last 3 games they might actually have a 3 game winning streak going.

they still have time to turn it around. they need to get their goaltenders healthy in order to do it but i love the way sturm and bergeron are playing together right now.

Sadly, a goalie can't win the Calder Trophy because of these two great scorers (Crosby and Ovechkin). Henrik Lundqvist is just a beast between the pipes.

he made a couple nice saves during the shootout. I was hoping Marek Malik would get a shot in the shootout and hed try that between the legs shot he made against washington
