Usually if a player is OK when he's going off the field he gives a thumbs up ... or some movement in his hands. He looked motionless the entire way off the field aside from his eyes being open and him talking.

 

It hit him right behind the ear. So not in the temple but he could still be in very bad shape.

well that sucks... no one you can really blame, but this is the 2nd player we've lost tonight, and Clement's injury looks VERY serious. I can only hope for the best.

I don't even want to know what it is like to get hit with a batted ball. I been hit by a ball my dad threw that hit me in the head and thats like 55 MPH. this must of been 2 times as fast. God i can't comprehend that. I don't want to be the hitter that hits someone either.

To those who ask how you can go on ... you just have to. It's happened before in baseball and football and hockey. Someone goes down with a serious injury like that, but you have to keep playing. "The game must go on"
