Matsui vs. Sox this year, .245, 2 HR 8 RBI 10 K's. He has looked different.

in the first very series of the season yes he did do very well since then hes been rather hitless, but altogether he has been 12 hits for 49 at bats.

i really got to handle it to wakefield, hes the backbone of the pitching staff and has been since he started for the sox. now been back to back games where hed last as long as he could to get the sox a chance to try and rally. baltimore loss he lasted 7 innings giving up 4 runs. last nights game he worked his heart out on a great complete game, allowing 5 hits and 5 runs, too bad that is in vain of the bad calls that happened in the 9th.
