I study into oldtime baseball, so I hate no team or player from before 1950. I had to write a report on baseball of before 1920, so I had a lot of pictures of Red Sox players from before them on my compuer, so I figured I'd pop them into Paint, and turn them into avitars for those who wanna use them.

Who the hell is the last guy, the first one is like, Tris Speaker or Joe Jackson or something, the second is Charles Radbourn I think and the third is obviously Rick Farrell.

Dude, that's a catcher, that's RICK Farrell. Wes Farrell was his brother. I know he had a brother, I think Rick's in the Hall of Fame as a catcher, he was durable and played for like 20 seasons long. Ohh, I just got it, you meant the last guy is Wes Farrell, gotcha.

Yeah, since when are those guys Red Sox? I don't think Farrell or Radbourn were on the Red Sox, but I could be wrong about Radbourn, it WAS like 120 years ago. Old Red Sox are like, King Kelly, Cy Young and all those old guys. I don't think that Farrell played for the Sox though.

Charlie Radburn- My Mistake, he played for the Boston Beaneater, modern day Atlanta Braves...I apologize, Red Sox were the Pilgrims and the Americans

I'll use that...thats a clipped pic of his 1924 Boston Red Sox rookie card. Its incredable..on of only 6 Red Ruffing cards I don't have. I've only heard stories of it, never saw it untill I did a recent google search and found it

Lets say there have been 50 Red Ruffing cards made between 1924-1945, I own 44 of them, I am only missing 6,

those 5, pluse the one above. Sad part is, 4 of the 6 will cost me over $650 each, and I don't have that kind of money, and the other two I've never seen for sale.

I can do avs too if anyone needs. I can really only do action avatars, I cant do graphics and all that. Like I couldnt make backgrounds like the avatars already provided. Just things like my avatars.

on those bottom avatars

when you have red letters like that on white and black its hard to see, you should put a drop shadow on it to give it more definition and make it look better. just go into the layers tab to do that I think.

 

I can take the occasional request during the week, we have photoshop at school. My home computer is too slow, but I can do stuff sparingly during the week. I'm not too shabby.
