I got my SI magazine this week and I just have one question: Why the obsession with Nash?

He was on the cover I believe it was last issue, or the one before that with Shaq. Could we not get another picture of a say a Mavs player? Sure the Suns took a 3-2 lead last night, but who ever thought the series would be this close?

I don't like the Mavs, but give them some credit, SI.

I'm sure Reggie Miller will be on the next one....if not on it, SI will have a big article about him.

Shoot, I forgot about him. Your right. It'll have like a collage of all his great plays.

I was watching espn and what nash did in game 6 of the mavericks has been done by some HOF's. (micheal Jordan, Magic Johnson) Right now i'd like to say that the suns are going to win it all.

Don't you also think that the Mariners will win it all? If I had to put cash down, I'd go with Detroit. They have a tough series with the Heat coming up, but they have a fantastic team that can go all the way.

You could say that about any one of the four remaining teams. I'm having an impossible time picking a winner. They all have pros and cons.

Gun to my head: Heat* over Suns- but I really have no idea.

*If Shaq is healthy.

I think the Pistons will easily win with or without Shaq against them. Without Shaq, it will be a clean sweep and if there is Shaq, the Pistons still have the BEST DEFENSIVE PLAYER in the league to cover Shaq. If anyone can contain him it's Ben Wallace.

Pistons over Suns.

Pistons will win in 7. There is no way the Heat will be able to beat the best starting 5 in the world, not including a good bench too. Pistons/ Spurs in the finals.

I'll take Wade and Shaq personally , they work so well together when one person is down the other steps it up I'll take the team that's been dominant all year.

Their guards are no match for the explosiveness of Billups/Hamilton. Add in the great 1 on 1 defense of Tayshaun Prince, the most underrated player in the NBA, great versitility in Rasheed, who can not only score on the blocks, but shoot threes well too. Then, Ben Wallace, I cant say enough about his defense. I seriously dont think the Heat will be able to win this. Yeah, Wade and Shaq are amazing together, but I dont think the entire Heat team matches up with the Pistons well. Plus, the Pistons got coaching and playing experience on their side.

They have 2 great players. They have maybe 1 good players and maybe 2 above average players. The rest are average.

The Pistons starting lineup has 4 great players. Prince is a good player. They have maybe 2 above average and the rest are average.

With that good of a starting lineup and a great bench vs Wade and Shaq it'll be DETROIT BASKETBALL.

Prince is good? Are you serious? Tayshaun Prince is amazing. Maybe the best one one one defender in the NBA (until Artest is back). Hes got a nack for big game/game changing/game winning/amazing/clutch plays. Hes also got a pretty good jumper with very good ranger. Long arms, very aggressive. I like him a lot, wouldnt mind to see him in a Celtics uni.

I really really really really love him too but you can't put him in the great players group, can you?

There is superstars, great players, good players, average players, and awful players. Hes a great player, probably the MVP for Detroit this season.

If you put it that way, then I put Rasheed and Ben Wallace in superstars. I put Prince, Hamilton, and Billups in great players. I put Arroyo and McDyess in good players. The rest are average.

I put Shaq and Wade in superstars. I put Eddie Jones in great players. I put Udonis Haslem and Damon Jones in good players. The Rest are average.
