My Idea for a Starter

Foulke may have once been a starter, but he hasnt made a single start since 1997. I agree with you that we have nothing to lose, and that a good start could help snap him out of it and help our rotation all the while, but realistically I choose to call you crazy.

 

He's pitched a total of 10 innings this year, and hasn't pitched more than 90 since '99. Last year he average a little over an inning for each appearance. And while it may be better to experiment with him early on in games, when the game isn't on the line with the bases loaded with one of the AL East's top hitters at the plate, I doubt it will happen. Interesting idea though.
